Julskinka & Julklappsjakt
Läste i tidningen häromdagen om en jetstråle någonstans i universum. Jetstrålen mynnade ur ett svart hål och hade skjutit sönder en galax. Enligt wikipedia är en galax: Galax (från grekiskans galaxi’as (ky’klos) – “mjölkringen”) är en stor ansamling av materia, som stjärnor, gas, stoft och förmodad mörk materia sammanbunden genom gravitation. Denna stråle var unik endast för att det var första gången någon på Tellus lyckats fotografera detta fenomen. Sådana här saker händer tyligen ibland. Jag tänkte inte så mycket mer på det förrän jag på kvällen såg reportaget om jetstrålen på Rapport. Jetstrålen var tydligen ungefär 20 ljusår lång. Jag har lärt mig att 1 ljusår är detsamma som sträckan ljuset hinner färdas på ett år. Ingen vanlig jetstråle, tänkte jag. Ingen liten jetstråle, tänkte jag sen. När jag senare i reportaget fick veta att händelsen inträffade för drygt 1 miljon år sedan och att det var först nu vi kunde fotografera den förstod jag också att universum måste vara ganska stort, oerhört stort. Tanken på att vi skulle vara ensamma i denna oändlighet är ju nästan löjlig. 2008 närmar sig och det har blivit dags för människan att besöka Mars. Wow!
Igår griljerade jag en fantastisk julskinka från Nästgårds (företaget som gör skinkan heter så, det var alltså inte grannens skinka). Det är oerhört gott med julskinka.
Mina spikskor börjar rosta ihop. Endast en gång har de förärats mina fötter sen Finnkampen. 3×60m och några frivändningar senare hade jag blivit varse att det kanske inte gör så mycket, samt att jag troligen ställer upp i fler SM- tävlingar i friidrott. 20 timmar/ vecka har förbytts med 2,5 timmar/ vecka med fotbollsspel. Det är kanonkul och jag längtar redan lite till sommaren.
Imorgon blir det stora julklappsjakten. Mycket mysigt och skönt att vara ledig!

Kul att se att det händer lite i vederbörandes blogg. Jag kan inte erinra mig om senaste gången det fanns ett färskt inlägg här, det kan ha varit samtida med med att Titanic sjönk, det vill säga samma år som Merlene Ottey gjorde debut i OS-sammanhang (Stockholm Stadion 1912). Nu när vi ändå talar om Merlene så skulle hon vilja äta en middag med dig, gärna på andra sidan jorden, kraftigt jetlaggad med katten Lena vid sina fötter.

They built them for mainly the southern states that don’t have snow. A front axle transfer case cost a lot more so the Southern dealers ordered them standard knowing most people wouldn’t use it. It’s I don’t know how many times I’ve been on a slight incline and had to lock in to get out…Having 2 wheel drive is useless when off pavement.
